Iron sharpens iron · Proverbs 27:17

Set your rhythm. Stay accountable. Leave a legacy.

Cadence helps Christian men keep a daily rhythm across the five pillars of 1 Corinthians 16:13-14. Choose the pillars you'll push on this season, run a plan for each, stay accountable to the men in your circle, and leave a private legacy for the people you love.

How it works

Three steps. No man drifts alone.

  1. Step 1

    Choose your pillars.

Pick two to five of Pray, Read, Lead, Train and Love for a 12-week season, and a pace that fits your life. Each gets one simple step a day, or a plan you start. Check them off and the day is kept.

  2. Step 2

    Gather your circle.

Invite the men you trust by text or email. Three to eight is a good size, and there’s no cap. They see whether you showed up this week. Never your tasks, your pace, or your numbers.

  3. Step 3

    Keep each other accountable.

Pick a watchman for the season. Go quiet for four days and he gets one nudge to call you. Carry each other’s prayers, and send a flare when you need a brother now.

The five pillars

Five pillars, from one verse.

Paul closed his letter to a church under pressure with five commands. Cadence turns each one into a pillar you can keep today. Choose two to five for a season, and each gets one simple step a day or a plan from the library.

Be on the alert. Stand firm in the faith. Be men of courage. Be strong. Do everything in love.

  2. “Stand firm in the faith”ReadFirm in the WordRead the Word daily and let one line change a decision.
  3. “Be men of courage”LeadCourage at work and homeTake responsibility. Face the hard thing in front of you. Plan real adventure.
  4. “Be strong”TrainStrong in bodySteward the body you were given. Strong enough at 50 to carry what’s yours to carry.
  5. “Do everything in love”LoveFamily and the next generationLove the people God gave you, on purpose. Family, friends, and the next generation.

Grace first. Then the rhythm.

Christ kept every command we couldn't and gave His life for ours. The pillars aren't how a man earns God's favor. They're how he answers it, one ordinary day at a time. And love comes last because it carries the other four.

Accountability, not surveillance

Your brothers know you showed up. That's enough.

Most men drift quietly. Cadence makes the drift visible to the few men who love you, without turning your faith into a scoreboard.

  • Brothers see a ring for the week: full, partial, or empty. Not your counts.
  • Your watchman gets one quiet nudge. Nobody else is told.
  • A flare asks your circle to call you. No details shared.
  • Prayer requests stay inside the circle, and you see who prayed.
The Circle screen: who showed up this week, and the prayer requests brothers asked the circle to carry.

Everything a circle needs

A brotherhood app, not a social network.

No public feed, no likes, no streaks to protect. Just the few things that keep men faithful, built for the men who keep you honest.

Legacy · Private until you choose

Your voice, for the ones who come after you.

One day the people you love will want to know what you were like, what you believed, and what you prayed for them. Children, if God gives you children. Nieces and nephews, the young men you mentor, the next generation. Cadence asks you now, a question a week, and keeps your answers until they're ready.

  • Answer on video or voiceA new question every week, or one your family sends you. One to three minutes, in your own words.
  • Seal it for the dayA letter or an answer can stay sealed until a 16th birthday, a graduation, or a wedding day.
  • Name a trusteeIf you can’t be there, he can open what’s sealed for them. He never sees what’s inside.

Voice answers are free. Video comes with Membership.

Not a dad? The same questions come as Pass it on, written for the next generation.

Private by default

Locked like it matters. Because it does.

You can't be honest in a journal you don't trust. So the things you write in Cadence are encrypted before they're saved, and the only screens that show them are yours.

An example. Every entry is scrambled with its own random values.
  • Your words, encryptedYour journal, Sunday reviews, letters and prayers are encrypted with AES-256 before they’re stored. A stolen backup reads as noise.
  • Recordings under lockVideos and voice answers live in private, encrypted storage. Never public, and every link to one expires in 15 minutes.
  • Sealed means sealedNo one opens a sealed letter before its day. Your trustee can release it if you can’t. He never sees what’s inside.
  • Your circle sees a ringBrothers see whether you showed up this week. Never your tasks, your pace, or a word you wrote. Your pace is yours alone.
  • Never sold, never for adsWe don’t sell your data or use it for advertising. We never upload your contacts. An invite is used only to reach that one man, then wiped.
  • Yours to takeExport all of it, recordings and originals included, any time.

Why not end-to-end?

Because a legacy has to outlive a lost phone. With end-to-end encryption, a forgotten password would lock the people you love out of your letters for good, and your trustee could never open them. So your words are encrypted at rest, the keys are guarded and backed up, and nothing is shown to anyone you didn't choose.
